Enriched in the Spirit |
In Confirmation we confirm the Holy Spirit given to us in Baptism, receiving the fullness of the Spirit's gifts.

Youth Confirmation |
Our 7th and 8th grade Confirmation program uses two curricula from Lifeteen: Edge and Purpose. These programs are designed especially for middle school students to help them discover who they are created to be, to learn about the teachings of the Catholic Church, and to consider Jesus’ invitation to accept his love and grace and become his disciples.
The curriculum addresses 3 big questions:
Each Edge Night, the students will gather in small groups to hear and reflect on the Sunday’s scriptures, listen to a lesson on what the Catholic Church teaches and a message that encourages the youth to think about the role of faith, prayer and belief in Jesus in their daily lives. The sessions end with contemplative and sung prayer. The programming takes place in the church basement, as well as the church. Valerie Romano and Margaret Pasquesi will lead the students in their lessons and contemplative and sung prayer. Volunteer small group facilitators lead discussions with the students and encourage them to think about and apply the night’s lesson to their daily lives. Edge Nights begin 6:30 p.m. and end at 7:45 p.m. Program dates for 2021-22 (on Sunday nights unless noted otherwise):
Currently we have no Confirmation date set for this year’s incoming 8th grade class. We will inform you as soon as we know. Confirmation is a two year program. In order to be confirmed in the 8th grade, a student must have been enrolled in a Catholic Faith Formation program or a Catholic school in the 7th grade. If your child missed the 7th grade instruction last year, we will enroll them in the online Chosen program and give specific chapters your child must do in order to be eligible for Confirmation in the 8th grade.
